Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group Information Session
Wednesday, November 11, 2009
4:30pm – 6:00pm
Student Center East, Room 613
Building on the heritage of CME, CBOT and NYMEX, CME Group serves the risk management needs of customers around the globe. They provide the widest range of benchmark futures and options products available on any exchange, covering all major asset classes, including interest rates, equities, FX, commodities, and alternative investments such as weather and real estate. CME Group's vision is one of ongoing global growth, innovative product development, continually enhanced technology and the highest level of service available on any exchange.
UIC Liautaud is very fortunate to have Rachel LaVelle, Senior Manager, Partner Services Management, Global Operations to be a guest speaker. She will discuss the operations and structure of the CME Group including the experience they would look for when hiring for internships and full time positions. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the CME Group and their vision for future operations.
Rachel earned her BA degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Art History and an MBA in Leadership and Change Management from DePaul. Currently, she works as an operations manager for partner exchanges. Do not miss this opportunity to hear from a senior manager at the CME Group. Please RSVP if you plan to attend this event.
Please only submit a “will attend” RSVP for this event if you are certain that you are able to attend. We often need to let our presenters know how many students will be attending a particular event, and we rely on accurate RSVP numbers to make sure we have appropriate seating and resources available at the event. If you submit an RSVP that you later need to change, it is important that you contact the UIC Liautaud office as soon as possible to notify us of the change. Please know that students who repeatedly RSVP to attend events and fail to show up or fail to notify our office may be restricted from attending UIC Liautaud events in the future.
