It is not only my pleasure to serve as President of the MBA Association (MBAA), but also a privilege to have the opportunity to address the LGSB community on behalf of all the MBAA’s accomplished board members. It seems that no matter who you are, where you came from, or where you want to go; there is an opportunity for you to get to know other students who share the same concerns, expectations, and ambitions that you have. The MBAA is open to LGSB students from diverse backgrounds, and plays a significant role in both the academic and social experience of our students.

Membership in the MBAA allows you to engage in new chances for leadership, socializing, career networking, and community service; and will also give you first-rate exposure to the Chicago business community. Throughout the course of the school year, the MBAA will provide a number of professional workshops and social outings to balance your academic, business, and social agendas. Happy hours, executive business leader presentations, resume workshops, career forums, and community service functions are just a few of the experiences the MBAA will present you with during your time here. It is my hope that you not only join the MBA Association, but you become an active part of its membership; and take advantage of all the benefits it will bring to your experience at the Liataud Graduate School of Business. I am currently in my third and final year at LGSB, and could not think of a better way to show my gratitude to all I’ve gained from the MBAA, than to act as President over the course of the 2009-10 academic year.
Respectfully,
