For the third year in a row, Entrepreneur magazine and the Princeton Review have named the Liautaud Graduate School of Business as one of the top 25 graduate entrepreneurship programs in the country!!
The UIC Center for Supply Chain Management and Logistics will be hosting a symposium, “Using Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Freight Transportation in a Changing Economy”, on November 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Illinois Rooms of Student Center East. No prior registration is required.
UIC Liautaud is proud to announce an upcoming discussion panel with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society of Chicago. This year we will have three spectacular speakers at the event. If you would like to attend please see the details and RSVP link below. If you have a friend or co-worker that would also be interested in attending please have them RSVP as well. There will be Liautaud staff and Student Ambassadors on hand after the discussion to answer any questions your guests have about our Graduate Business programs. The CFA Society of Chicago has Student Memberships available, so you are not required to actually have the CFA to join. This was one of the most popular events last year.

Matthew A. Litfin – Portfolio Manager at Investment Management
Mr. Litfin began his career as a municipal bond analyst at John Nuveen & Co. He joined William Blair & Company in 1997 as a Research Analyst and worked his way up to group head of the firm’s sell-side Business Services research effort. In this position, Matthew was twice named “Best on the Street” in the Wall Street Journal’s annual analyst survey. He joined Investment Management in 2007 as a Research Analyst supporting the Small-Mid Growth Team, and is now a portfolio manager for this team. Yes it is that time in the semester already! Come check out elective class offerings for Spring 2010 and stay to for the Mid-Term social. There will be special Halloween treats to snack on and its a great way to start your Halloween weekend!
Elective Fest is an opportunity for students to talk with faculty members and learn about upcoming elective courses. At the Fall 2009 event, faculty members will be promoting their Spring 2010 elective courses. Elective Fest will be set up as an informational fair, where students can visit with several different faculty members to learn more about any and all of the electives in which they are interested.
Take a break from studying! Come to the UIC Liautaud Mid-Term Social ready to eat and have a good time! Food and beverages will be provided.
