HeartSounds Inc., a company created by a group of three LGSB students in the MBA program, is the latest example of a start-up with roots in UIC's Technology Ventures program, a yearlong entrepreneurship curriculum designed to prepare students for launching a viable business. With the job market tight and interest in entrepreneurship on the rise, experts say, more schools are catering to students interested in starting businesses.
