Big Day. Better Schools. Brighter Futures
On June 13, the UIC MBAA participated in the Chicago Cares Serve-a-Thon along with thousands of others. The Serve-A-Thon is the largest day of community service in Chicago. In just a few hours, MBAA volunteers transformed a school into a more wonderful, vibrant places to learn and grow. They were charged with adding fresh coats of paint to the hallways and classrooms to a school in Little Village on the Southwest side of Chicago. Overall this day impacted over 30,000 Chicago Public School students who now have better places to learn and grow more wonderful, vibrant places to learn and grow.
