Why did you return to school to obtain your MBA?
I returned to school for advancement of my professional knowledge which would in turn lead to advancement of my career.
What impact has the UIC Liautaud MBA had on you?
The UIC Liautaud MBA has made me more marketable in the job market. In addition, I have made lasting memories.
What were some of the opportunities that became available to you once you received your UIC Liautaud MBA?
My UIC Liautaud MBA helped me in my career change from audit to the transaction services (financial due diligence) department. I had three job offers once I received my degree from UIC. I also now have a good network of friends in corporate America.
What course(s) proved to be most useful in your current position?
-FIN 510: Investments
-ACTG 516: Financial Statement Analysis
What did the UIC Liautaud MBA offer you that you would not have received elsewhere?
-Proximity to big corporations in downtown Chicago
-Caring LGSB Program administrative staff
What was your favorite aspect of the UIC Liautaud MBA program or the Liautaud Graduate School of Business?
Team work. We had a cohesive team of five individuals and we became good friends even after completing our MBA program.
